Skills
I bring a well-rounded skill set that blends classroom expertise with educational leadership and whole-school initiatives. I design inclusive, differentiated programs to support students with diverse learning needs, particularly through my current work in a Stage 5 support unit where individualised learning is at the core.
My background in literacy leadership includes coordinating school-wide programs such as InitiaLit and I-Read, leading professional development, and mentoring colleagues in strategies like the PEEL method. These experiences are grounded in reflective, evidence-informed practice and collaborative growth.
In Aboriginal education, I have developed strategic plans, organised yarning circles, and embedded Wiradjuri perspectives across the curriculum—strengthening student identity and building lasting partnerships with local community members.
Beyond the classroom, I have coordinated NAPLAN and Minimum Standards testing, supported teacher accreditation, and led professional development that builds staff capacity. I also mentor early career teachers and supervise support staff, fostering collective efficacy through coaching, collaborative planning, and reflective practice.
